Available as a stand-alone novella and in audiobook, Alpha and Omega (Novella) was originally published in the anthology On the Prowl. Alpha and Omega introduces the Alpha and Omega series and is followed by the novel Cry Wolf.
Summary[]
Alpha and Omega introduces Anna Latham and Charles Cornick and the Chicago wolf pack. In Chicago, Anna is an omega werewolf who is struggling to make ends meet financially and is sexually molested and otherwise abused by her pack. She realizes murder is occurring also. Eventually, she works up the nerve to call long distance to Aspen Creek, Montana. She calls the über-alpha Marrok Bran Cornick . The Marrok sends his son Charles out to Chicago with specific instructions to look after Anna and discover what the Chicago Alpha, Leo, is doing.
Ramifications of what Leo is doing in Chicago will be seen in subsequent A&O books and in the Mercy Thompson (Series).
